As the Principal of KMP Consulting, LLC, Katy Perry provides strategic planning and business transformation support to both public and private entities. Currently, she serves federal clients to meet mandates for National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) electronic records M-23-07 activities (formerly known as M-19-21) for agencies to transition to an electronic environment, as well as initiatives supporting large-scale organizational changes, strategic planning and change management activities. Ms. Perry previously worked in the federal sector, primarily at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in numerous leadership positions directing agency-wide compliance programs including records management, regulations, privacy, and policy, among others. She established effective coalitions and partnerships across government with agencies including NARA, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health and Human Services (HHS) and Social Security Administration (SSA). She also held administrative leadership positions supporting the federal Human Genome Project as well as the Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases Research Initiative. Ms. Perry holds a B.S. in Management Studies and executive-level certifications through the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Federal Executive Institute and the NIH/Brookings Institute Executive Leadership Program.
